Economic development creates jobs and jobs create more economic development opportunities. Experts say there are dozens of variables that contribute to economic development and job creation, but there are a few factors that must be present:
• Quality kindergarten through 12th grade education.
• Secondary education opportunities from universities, colleges and trade schools.
• Available, affordable property.
• The cost of doing business.
• A skilled work force.
