36 dogs seized from two homes

WATSONVILLE, Calif. - California officials were searching for new homes for three dozen Chihuahuas that were seized from two residences.

Officials with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter said they removed 11 Chihuahuas, including six puppies, at a Watsonville apartment. Then they found 25 more, including 10 puppies, at a relative’s house in the same town.
