County Eyes Street Maintenance

Benton County officials say they’re seeing an unanticipated legacy of growth from the 1990s and 2000s in a growing number of residential subdivision streets needing maintenance.

What’s Your Sign?

Benton County indicates the planned maintenance of roads by the color of the road signs — green, blue or white. Green signs are used for roads that are scheduled for regular maintenance. Roads marked with blue signs receive limited maintenance and roads marked with white signs aren’t maintained by the county.
