Rick Lee’s Oaklawn Park selections and analysis

Profit plays Arkansas Democrat-Gazette handicapper Rick Lee has been given a mythical $1,000 bankroll to work with during the 2013 Oaklawn meeting. He can make as many plays as he wants daily. You know it’s going bad when you pick the first five winners and six of the first eight and your only bet is in the ninth race, and of course he finished second. The good news is that I picked 19 of the 36 winners last week and as the weather warms pace figures will continue to be more reliable because the surface will be more consistent. Today, I will bet $10 to win on Braseana in the third and add a cold $10 exacta over Majestic Chick. I’ll bet four $6 exactas in the fourth, putting Sweet Laz over Father’s Flame, A Case of Gold Luc, Alittlemeansalot and Pretty Morgan, and finish the afternoon with a $20 win bet on Malorie’s First in the seventh. SUNDAY’S BET $30 SUNDAY’S LOSS $30 TODAY’S BET $64 BANKROLL $265
