Expected Beebe denial, says 12-week measure’s sponsor

Gov. Mike Beebe answers reporters’ questions at the Capitol on Monday, shortly after he vetoed legislation outlawing most abortions after 12 weeks’ gestation.
Gov. Mike Beebe vetoed a bill Monday that would ban most abortions beyond 12 weeks of gestation. The Senate is scheduled to vote whether to override the veto today.
