Mr. Harton assumes that humans were made to fit into the economic status quo--that it is greater and of more importance than we are.
However not all the world agrees.

I had despaired of ever seeing a relatively intelligent column from Mr. Harton. This one actually makes sense.

Now I guess I'll have to despair of ever seeing two relatively intelligent columns from Mr. Harton.
