Banker named trustee at UA

He’ll serve rest of Tyson’s term

Bank executive John “Reynie” Rutledge of Searcy has joined the University of Arkansas board of trustees to serve the remainder of the term vacated by John Tyson of Springdale when he resigned in February. Gov. Mike Beebe announced Rutledge’s appointment to the 10-member board Friday. Rutledge’s appointment will end in 2017, when Tyson’s 10-year term was scheduled to expire.
