FAYETTEVILLE - Dowell Loggains and George Wilson are on the same team team again.

The former Arkansas teammates have been reunited with the Tennessee Titans, where Loggains is offensive coordinator and Wilson signed as a free agent safety in the off-season.

“It’s been fun, because George and I can talk about the good old days up here on the Hill,” Loggains said during a recent visit to Fayetteville.

Wilson, who had 144 catches for the Razorbacks as a starting wide receiver from 2001-2003, switched to defense with the Buffalo Bills in 2005.

Loggains lettered as the Razorbacks’ holder from 2001-2004 and played a few snaps as a backup quarterback.

“George and I weren’t best friends, but when we were together at Arkansas he was the teammate I respected the most,” Loggains said. “George was one of our leaders at Arkansas, and he’s one of our leaders on the Titans now.

“He’s a great man, great worker.

He makes people around him better - players, coaches, your whole organization. He did the same thing at Arkansas.”

Wilson, a Bills’ team captain the previous five seasons, played in 92 games at Buffalo, including 55 starts, and had 412 tackles and 12 interceptions from 2005-2012. He is expected to start for the Titans.

‘We’ve always been friends and stayed in touch through the years, and when Buffalo played Tennessee we’d always talk before and after the game,” Loggains said. “It’s been great to see him every day, but he also can tell stories about me that the players didn’t know.”
