SEARCY - Verna and Ralph Mansell have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 27, 1953. She is the former Verna Van Horn. He is a retired chemist for Dow Chemical Co. in Midland, Mich. They are the parents of Patty Olree of Allen, Texas; Connie Muncy of Searcy; and David Mansell of Larkspur, Calif. The couple have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

GUY - Janette and Don Bivens have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 22, 1963. She is the former Janette Smith and is employed with the Guy-Perkins School District. He owns a construction company. They are the parents of Dana Ritter, Douglas Bivens and Dusty Martinez, all of Guy. The couple have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

QUITMAN - Glenda and John Hanna will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in Dallas. The couple were married July 3, 1953. She is the former Glenda Douglas and a retired teacher. He is retired from the insurance business. They are the parents of Holly Hanna McCarra of Centerville, Ga. The couple have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Becky and Bill Rogers of Little Rock have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 15, 1963. She is the former Becky Lovan and an elementary music teacher with the Pulaski County School District. He is owner of Capital Business Machines. They are the parents of Brett Rogers and Byron Rogers, both of Little Rock; and Bryce Rogers of Maumelle. The couple have four grandchildren.

TWIN GROVES - Telitha and Howard Ealy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering June 15 at the Faulkner County Natural Resource Center. The couple were married June 15, 1963. She is the former Telitha Tyus and retired from IC Corp., formerly Ward Bus Co. and Amtran, in Conway. He is retired from Polyvend Manufacturing and International Paper. They are the parents of Patrick Ealy and Ashley Ealy, both of Twin Groves; and Rennetta Carter of Arkadelphia. The couple have six grandchildren.

TEXARKANA - Julienne and Richard Hall have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 28, 1941. She is the former Julienne Dow. He retired as a civil engineer from Hall Surveying and Engineering. They are the parents of Jeanne Milazzo of Dallas; and Richard V. Hall Jr. and Sue Ellen Hall, both of Texarkana. The couple have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Anna and A.E. Wilkinson of North Little Rock will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with family July 4. The couple were married June 20, 1943. She is the former Anna Katherine Powell and a research scientist who retired from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital. He is a clinical psychologist who retired from the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center in North Little Rock. They are the parents of Nancy Scott of Little Rock and have nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Louise and LeRoy Haney of Sherwood will celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary Monday at home with friends and family. The couple were married July 1, 1944. She is the former Louise Johnson. The couple retired as owners of Haney’s Auto Supply. They are the parents of Patricia Hoeffken and Melody Dycus, both of North Little Rock; Stephen Haney of Sherwood; the late Jerry Haney and the late Melvin Haney. They have 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Virginia and Jake Broadaway of Maumelle will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. The couple were married June 26, 1953. She is the former Virginia Stockwell and a retired co-owner of Medical Imaging Services Inc. He retired as owner of Bituminous Asphalt Sealing Specialists. They are the parents of Jan Stafford of Sherwood and the late Brad Broadaway of Cabot. The couple have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Rosemary and Roy Glover of North Little Rock celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary June 27 with a family dinner. The couple were married June 28, 1948. She is the former Rosemary Campbell and a retired registered nurse. He is semi-retired from Glover Truck and Trailer Sales. They are the parents of James Glover and Kathey Glover, both of North Little Rock; Robin George of Springdale; and George Glover of Sherwood. The couple have 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Bonnie and Dr. Harold Hutson of North Little Rock celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday at their home. The couple were married June 27, 1953. She is the former Bonnie Bean and a retired registered nurse. He is a retired doctor. They are the parents of Harold G. Hutson of Belleville, Ill., and Linda Shatsar and David L. Hutson, both of Sherwood. The couple have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Bill and Flo Hemphill of North Little Rock celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a trip to Branson and a family dinner. The couple were married June 27, 1953. She is the former Flo Neighbors and a retired receptionist. He retired as a sales representative for Graybar Electric Co. They are the parents of Rita Farmer of Cabot and Nita Fehrenbach of Sherwood. The couple have three grandchildren.

CABOT - Dorothy and Dalton Cartmel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a lake-house vacation with their family and will take an Alaskan cruise at a later date. The couple were married June 28, 1963. She is the former Dorothy Dicus. He is retired from Union Pacific Motor Freight. They are the parents of Donna Mann and Cindy Jones, both of Cabot; Sara Marshall of Ward; and Kelly Ross of Little Rock. The couple have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

OPELLO - Frances and Ben Donaldson have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 29, 1963. She is the former Frances Grabher and is a retired registered nurse. He is retired from the Air Force. They are the parents of Greg Donaldson and Stephanie Fox, both of Little Rock. The couple have four grandchildren.

HUMPHREY - Joy and Jay Black celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception Saturday. The couple were married June 30, 1963. They are retired farmers and he is also a retired aerial applicator. They are the parents of Lynn Wall of North Sioux City, S.D.; Greta Mittman of Garland Texas; and Jara Miller of Jackson, Miss. The couple have six grandchildren.

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Vivian and Ray Hamilton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a Danube River tour. The couple were married June 15, 1963. She is the former Vivian Heath and a retired teacher. He is formerly of North Little Rock and retired from a career in real estate and finance. They are the parents of two children and have six grandchildren.

LAKE VILLAGE - Floy and Dick Bostick celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 17 with a family reunion at Lake Village Baptist Church. The couple were married June 28, 1963. She is the former Floy Peacock and a retired Chicot County circuit clerk. He is retired from Potlatch Paper Mill. They are the parents of Holly Adams of Rogers; Jodie Allison of Pea Ridge; and John Bostick of Monticello. The couple have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
