Events raise money for area nonprofit organizations

BEAU CLASSIC BEAU FOUNDATION8 - The Beau Classic golf tournament will be held at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. The annual fundraiser promotes prenatal care and helps fund the Beau Foundation’s Vitamins for Moms Healthy Babies Campaign.

Registration for a team of four is $1,000 and sponsorships are available. Information: beaufoundation.

BOWL FOR KIDS’ SAKE: LUAU AT THE LANES BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF NORTHWEST ARKANSAS11 6 p.m. - Bowl for Kids’ Sake to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas will be at the Rogers Bowling Center. The event is the Big Brothers Big Sisters largest national fundraiser.

Participants are asked to raise at least $100 in sponsorships. Registration includes two free games of bowling, a Bowl for Kids’ Sake T-shirt, pizza and chances to win door prizes. Information: (479) 966-4366 or bgulley@bbbsnwa.

OPENING NIGHT GALA ARTS CENTER OF THE OZARKS12 6:30 p.m. - Arts Center of the Ozarks’ Opening Night Gala will be at the arts center in Springdale and include heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages before the premier of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and a dessert and champagne intermission. BEACH BINGO BASH ELIZABETH RICHARDSON CENTER12 6:30 p.m. - The Elizabeth Richardson Center’s Beach Bingo Bash will be at the UARK Bowl in Fayetteville. The second annual event will include beach themed food and drinks, live music and bingo games for prizes. Tickets are $50for an individual, $80 per couple or $375 for a table for 10. BOTANICAL GARDEN OF THE OZARKS13 6-10 p.m. - The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks in Fayetteville will host its annual Firefly Fling: The Summer Festival for Families. The evening will include entertainment by Shaky Bugs, Still on the Hill, Fairy Willow, Night Blossom and Merrily Spins. Individual tickets are $6-$8. Admission is free for children younger than 3.
