FOOTBALL ASU adds Wyche to ‘13 class

Bryan Harsin isn’t quite done completing his first recruiting class.

The first-year Arkansas State coach announced Monday the signing of Troy Wyche, a linebacker from Riverdale, Ga. Wyche is the fourth player to sign with the Red Wolves since signing day in February, and he brings the total of Harsin’s first class to 24.

The 6-1, 215-pounder was named Class 4A all-state as a senior by the Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Associated Press after making 145 tackles for the Raiders.

He originially signed with Savannah State, an NCAA Football Championship Series member, in February, but an ASU official said he never enrolled at the school and received a release from his scholarship allowing him to be eligible immediatley at ASU.
