Vandals hit Fayetteville High School construction site

Vandals broke into the Fayetteville High School construction site and poured carpet glue on the carpet in the 100-seat lecture hall. The lecture hall is on the first floor of the classroom building under construction on the northwest corner of the campus.

The vandalism was discovered early Monday morning when construction crews arrived for work. No dollar estimate of damage was available early Monday from Nabholz Construction Services, the construction manager for the project.

The vandals also sprayed the contents of several fire extinguishers around the lecture hall, a 2,258-square-foot room, on the southeast side of the building.

Police are investigating the incident.
