Pilot killed in ultralight plane crash in Connecticut

EAST WINDSOR, Conn. — State Police say an unidentified man has died when the ultralight plane he was piloting crashed near an airport in East Windsor.

The one-person plane crashed at about 10 a.m. Sunday on rural property adjacent to the Skylark Airport.

A medical helicopter transported the pilot to an area hospital.

Authorities are withholding his name until his family is notified.

Connecticut State Police and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.

No other details were available.
