HOT SPRINGS - Pea Ridge Mayor Jackie Crabtree was elected president and Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola was elected first vice president as the Arkansas Municipal League wrapped up its 79th convention Friday.
Crabtree and Stodola will serve in their positions for the 2013-14 year.
Other officers elected for 2013-14 are:
Piggott Mayor Gerald Morris, District 1 Vice President.
Jacksonville Mayor Gary Fletcher, District 2 Vice President.
Bentonville Mayor Bob Mc-Caslin, District 3 Vice President.
Hope City Manager Catherine Cook, District 4 Vice President.
A total of 1,502 city and town officials from across Arkansas attended the conference, which began Wednesday night.
The Arkansas Municipal League is a service and advocacy organization for the municipalities of Arkansas.
