Where I live: My house is at the end of West Avenue in Fayetteville. I’m just a couple of houses down from Greenhouse Grille. I’m still downtown, but a little off the square and the beaten path. It’s along a row of houses that are just off the bike trail, and our house is actually the only house that has direct access to it.

Occupation: I co-founded Seeds That Feed. We collect fresh produce and then we get it to community meal programs, food pantries, shelters, schools — really anywhere that we can get some fresh nutrition into the hands of people who could really use it. My business partner and I have another business we’ve been working on for a few years now called SpareTime, which seeks to build an online community of volunteers, donors, nonprofits and churches.

My favorite space: My front porch.

Why? I’ve always really been drawn to front porches. This time of year you can sit out there in the morning, read a book and drink a cup of coffee. In the afternoon or the evening, you can sit down, do some work or have a beer. I love being outdoors, and the front porch just naturally draws me out there.

If I could do one thing to improve this space I would: Add an electrical outlet and a ceiling fan.
