Opera orchestra to perform July 15

HOLIDAY ISLAND - Holiday Island Community Church will present the Woodward Memorial Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. July 15. The concert will feature the Opera of the Ozarks Orchestra, as well as ensembles and soloists. This will be the fifth year the church has hosted the popular concert featuring the orchestra. The Opera of the Ozarks Orchestra includes professional and advanced student musicians from around the country.

The concert is free and will be at the church, 188 Stateline Drive. Information is available by calling (479) 253-8200.

Fayetteville church sets labyrinth walk

FAYETTEVILLE - St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will host a labyrinth walk 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 29. The church’s large labyrinth, about 50 feet in diameter, is in the parish hall. The labyrinth is based on a pattern at Amiens Cathedral in France. Labyrinths are tools used for meditation and prayer with walkers following the winding path to the center and out again.

Hermitage offers

vocations retreat

BERRY VILLE - The Brothers and Sisters of Charity at Little Portion Hermitage will offer a vocations retreat July 19-21 for those discerning a call to a deeper spiritual life as part of the lay Catholic community. The community, founded by John Michael Talbot, includes celibate monks and nuns, singles and married couples with children.
