Police Link Man to Voyeurism

FAYETTEVILLE — Police arrested an Abercrombie & Fitch employee Wednesday after he admitted taking photographs of customers while they changed clothes, according to an arrest report.

Arvis Trey Harper, 23, of 6401 S.W. Mallet Road in Bentonville faces a felony charge in connection with video voyeurism.

Officers were called to Abercrombie & Fitch in the Northwest Arkansas Mall just before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

A woman told police she was trying on a bathing suit when she noticed a phone being held under the stall, according to the report.

The woman said two other customers in the store denied taking the photo, according to the report. She told police she confronted Harper and he admitted taking her photograph.

He told police he saw her picking out bikinis, thought she was attractive and wanted photos of her, according to the report. He deleted the photos because he “got caught and was scared,” according to the report.

Detectives said Harper admitted photographing three girls in the changing rooms Wednesday.

He was being held Thursday without bond in the Washington County Detention Center.
