Workers fenced off a portion of the Scottsdale Center’s main parking lot in advance of a remodel of the Kohl’s store in Rogers.
The retail chain plans interior and exterior changes, according to the city’s Planning Department. Geetha Natarajan, a Kohl’s spokeswoman, wouldn't provide details on the extent of the work or a timeline for the project.
Tom Hopper, Scottsdale Center owner, confirmed the Kohl’s remodel and said Belk recently completed an interior remodel.
Also at Scottsdale Center is Saturday’s opening for Akin’s Natural Foods. The natural foods store is between Petco and Staples.
Akin’s stores carry supplements, cosmetics, organic groceries and produce, fresh packaged foods, pet supplies and cooking and gift items.
Rogers is Akin’s first Arkansas store.
