World Class Photographer to Present

Dragonfly Program At Hobbs

Robert Thomas has spent eight years traveling and photographing dragonflies. He will present a lecture about his experiences at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area Visitor Center.

Thomas' collection of photographs contains many very rare species, and some of his photographs have graced the covers of field guides, according to a news release.

A dragonfly catch and release will follow the lecture. Those attending are encouraged to bring a camera.

The Visitor Center is on Arkansas 12, just east of the War Eagle Road intersection.

The free program is part of the Friends of Hobbs Speaker Series. For information on upcoming programs, go to www.friendsofhobbs.com.
