Cast Masters

Jeff Cook and Daryl Cook won the Cast Masters bass tournament at Beaver Lake on Saturday with five bass that weighed 15.57 pounds.

Tim Clark and Charlie Brown were second with five bass at 14.2 pounds. Clark had big bass at 5.09 pounds.

Rodger Taylor and Mitzi Taylor placed third with five bass at 13.94 pounds.

Squadron Offers

Safety Checks

The Beaver Lake Sail and Power Squadron will offer free boat safety inspections from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Arkansas 12 bridge. Inspections are voluntary and are offered so boat owners can be sure their vessels carry required safety equipment. No citations are issued.

Mill Hosts Father’s Day Fishing

War Eagle Mill will host a Father’s Day fishing derby on Sunday. Anglers may fish any time from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the War Eagle River near the mill.

Merchandise prizes will be awarded at 4:30 p.m. for the heaviest fish, smallest fish and ugliest fish.
