David Fisher, a Rogers lawyer, was indicted yesterday in connection with a conspiracy charge in the bank fraud case of Brandon Barber, a former Northwest Arkansas developer, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge.

The indictment says Fisher, along with Barber, Brandon Rains and Jeff Whorton obtained bank loans under false pretenses. Fisher also prepared an agreement between the men detailing how the money from the scheme would be divided, according to the news release.

The charge against Fisher carries a maximum 30 years in prison and $1 million fine, the news release stated.
