GOLF ASGA Women’s Match Play to tee off
The Arkansas State Golf Association’s Women’s Match Play tournament begins today at the Maumelle Country Club with an 18-hole qualifying round.
After the round, players will be seeded and brackets will be set for match play which begins Wednesday. The semifinals of the tournament are Thursday with the finals set for Friday.
Last year’s champion and recent Conway High School graduate Summar Roachell will not be back to defend her title.
Meanwhile, two-time defending senior champion Jean Mowry of Hot Springs Villiage is entered in this year’s field. Mowry defeated Debbie Diner of Little Rock 1-up to win last year’s championship at Maumelle Country Club.
