Man who attempted to extinguish fatal fire released from hospital

The man who attempted to put out a fire in a manufactured home at 5801 Arkansas 94 has been released from the hospital, said Keshia Guyll, public information officer for the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

Chase Henry, 22, of Rogers, was treated and release from the hospital with minor burns, Guyll said.

Electrical wiring in the 35-year-old building caused the fire, said Marc Trollinger, Benton County fire marshal.

Eva Simpson, 84, died Tuesday at her 5801 Arkansas 94 home. Henry and two other people attempted to put out the fire before firefighters arrived.
