Scott Stober admitted using county funds to buy new tires for his truck, according to court documents filed today.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, Stober admitted to spending $858.75 for the tires. Stober also told Capt. Chris Sparks with the Benton County Sheriff's Office that he purchased wood and used the lumber to build a deck, according to court documents.
Stober also admitted in the interview to buying a tool box for use in his county vehicle, but the toolbox was being used a toy box for his children, the affidavit states.
According to court documents, Stober also purchased parts for $1487.57 to rebuild the rear differential on his truck.
Stober's bond was arrested Tuesday and released Wednesday on $2,500 bond.
