Aug. 12 is the deadline to register for the Thea Foundation’s fourth annual Flower Workshop with Tanarah Haynie of Tanarah Luxe Floral in Little Rock, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug 15 at the foundation, 401 Main St., North Little Rock. There’s a limit of 10 attendees; the $100 fee covers the lectures, tools and floral products.All proceeds benefit the Thea Foundation. Center on the Square, 219 W. Arch St., Searcy, will hold auditions for several roles in The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett (newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman) at 7 p.m. Wednesday and 2 -5 p.m. Saturday. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Director Martin McLeod will be casting the roles of Mr. Frank (male, 30s- 50s), Mrs. Frank (female, 30s-50s), Mr. Van Daan (male, 40s-60s), Mr. Dussel (male, 20s -40s), Miep Gies (female, 20s) and Mr. Kraler (male, 20s), plus some extras to play Nazis.
