The Fire Department responded Tuesday to an alarm at Apex Tool Group, 1690 N. Old Missouri Road, at 7:55 a.m. A portion of the wall and roof caught fire near a heating unit used to melt metal, said Duane Miller, fire marshal.
Everyone was evacuated, there were no injuries and the fire was not large enough to set off the sprinklers.
