Boys and Girls Club plans fundraisers

The Boys and Girls Club of Benton County will host a golf tournament and a beach party to raise funds for children’s programs in Benton County.

The 2013 Mobil 1 Summer Classic Golf Tournament will be Friday at the Kingswood and Berksdale Golf Courses in Bella Vista.

Tee times are 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Fees are $600 per team or $150 per player. Proceeds help pay for operating costs for the Benton County club locations.

A beach party will precede the tournament at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers. The event will include dinner, a silent auction and live entertainment.

Tickets are $20 each.

The Greater Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce will host the 19th annual Yards and Yards of Yard Sales from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at locations around Eureka Springs.

Residents are invited to clean out their basements, garages, storage sheds and attics.

Participants can sign up for the event by visiting the chamber’s office located in The Village at Pine Mountain on U.S. 62 East.

Registration costs $15.
