A Centerton man was arrested Saturday in connection with the sexual assault of two girls.
Troy David James, 45, was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail on $100,000 bond. He was arrested on charges of two counts of sexual assault in the second degree, a Class B felony.
The mother of a 6-year-old girl reported an allegation concerning her daughter being inappropriately touched by a man, according to court documents.
James was questioned by a detective and denied the allegation, according to court documents.
A 7-year-old girl was questioned in the investigation and reported James had touched her inappropriately when she was 6,
He is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment at 8 a.m. Sept. 3 in Circuit Judge Robin Green’s court.
