FAYETTEVILLE — Residents have three weeks to apply for 11 openings on six volunteer boards and commissions.
All applicants must be registered Fayetteville voters.
Openings are:
• Animal Services Advisory Board: One veterinarian term ending June 30, 2016
• City Board of Health: One term ending Dec. 31, 2016
• Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals: One alternate term ending March 31
• Historic District Commission: One term ending June 30, 2014 and one term ending June 30, 2016
• Telecommunications Board: Three terms ending June 30, 2017
• Town and Gown Advisory Committee: One Ward 1 resident term ending Sept. 30, 2015; one Ward 3 resident term ending Sept. 30, 2015; and one University of Arkansas student term ending Sept. 30, 2015
Applications can be found on the City Clerk’s page of the city’s website, accessfayetteville.org.
The applications must be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to the City Clerk’s office at 113 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville, AR 72701 by 5 p.m. Aug. 16.
