Coco Beverage doubles warehouse size

Coco Beverage Inc. has doubled the size of its warehouse in Van Buren because of successful sales growth of the nonalcoholic beverages the company distributes, Marty Coco, president and chief executive officer of the company, said Friday.

Coco Beverage, which is based in Hot Springs, expects to be fully moved to its new, 12,000-square-foot facility by Aug. 15, he said.

Coco Beverage is a wholesaler that sells nonalcoholic drinks and Anheuser-Busch products in Arkansas. The company employs 54 workers.

Coco said the expansion is the result of “significant sales growth” in its nonalcoholic drinks, which include Monster Energy, Hubert’s Lemonade and Nestle products such as Nesquik and Perrier water.

He said the company did not know yet if the expansion would result in new jobs.
