Event Organizers Say Thanks To Area

All of us at NWA Events Unlimited would like to take this opportunity to appreciate all of the wonderful residents from throughout the area for supporting us in our fi fth consecutive year of placing a spotlight on the rich diversity of music and culture in Arkansas. We felt your love and appreciated your kind words of encouragement which we received on our Facebook page, Twitter feed and our all-new presence on the web at bmmcarkansas.

com. We are most appreciative to our sponsors of this year’s Black Music Month Celebration, including The Coca-Cola Company, Luster Products Inc., Landers-McLarty Automotive Group, Fayetteville Visitors Bureau, Downtown Bentonville, Inc.

and The Walmart Visitor’s Center. The crucial support provided by these partners was invaluable in this year’s celebration.

This year proved to be both challenging and rewarding as we successfully endeavored to expand thecelebration with events at First Thursday Fayetteville, a tribute to Motown at First Friday Bentonville, The Motown Art Project with Bentonville’s Washington Junior High School and the introduction of the new, “Conversations with the Music Masters,” series hosted by the Rogers Public Library featuring music greats Leona Mitchell, Maxine Gordon and Sasha Daltonn.

So many contributed to the success of this year’s project and know that your contributions will not soonbe forgotten. Thank you again for supporting our mission of being another resource in bringing these activations of culture and diversity to Northwest Arkansas. We are encouraged and wish to applaud others whose events we see on the horizon that will provide great opportunities throughout the year which only underscores what a great region this is!
