Sheriff’s Office

• Michael Huston, 34, of 18407 Charles St. in Garfield was arrested Wednesday in connection with driving while intoxicated fourth offense and no driver’s license. Huston was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

• Amy Michelle Hill, 39, of 4341 Pine St. in Colcord, Okla., was arrested Tuesday in connection with six counts of forgery in the first degree and revoke of a suspended sentence. Hill was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

• Steven Wayne Jackson, 38, of 1501 S. 12th St. in Rogers was arrested Tuesday in connection with terroristic threatening in the first degree. Jackson was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

• Timothy Wade Lewis, 43, of 21405 Arkansas 102 in Decatur was arrested Tuesday in connection with failure to register as a sex offender and a parole violation. Lewis was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Bentonville

• Tim Ivan Sawyers II, 36, of 6075 N.W. Union Chapel Road in Parkville, Mo., was arrested Tuesday in connection with four counts of rape. Sawyers was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

• Harley Lowery, 23, of 3480 E. Huntsville Road was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance. He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Wednesday.

• Krystal Young, 22, of 5 E. Montgomery St. was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony theft by receiving. She was in the Washington County Detention Center on $3,500 bond Tuesday.

Siloam Springs

• Mark A. Downing, 28, of 300 Meadow Apt. C3 was arrested Wednesday in connection with breaking or entering and domestic battering in the third degree. Downing was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Springdale

• Tami Johnson, 18, of 2585A N. Mountain Road was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor interference with emergency communications. Police said Johnson hit and choked her sister. Johnson was in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday in lieu of $5,000 bond.

• Jeremy L. Griggs, 25, of 1848 E. Rolling Hills Drive in Fayetteville was arrested Tuesday in connection with a felony warrant for parole violation, a misdemeanor Benton County warrant for theft of property and criminal trespass. Police said Griggs hid from police in the backyard of a residence. Griggs was in the Benton County Jail on Wednesday with no bond.

Washington County

Sheriff’s Office

• Veronica Rostro, 26, of 809 Ninth St. in Ponca City, Okla., was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony violation of the Arkansas hot check law. She was released from the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond Wednesday.

• Charles Mimbs, 34, of 148 Kill Deer Drive was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony fraudulent use of a credit card. He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Wednesday.

Fire

Rogers

• Firefighters had a resident put out a fire near 13th and Olive streets on Tuesday. The burn didn't have a permit and the area was under a burn ban because of  high wind.

• Firefighters rescued a cat from a tree Tuesday at New Hope Animal Hospital, 103 E. New Hope Road.

• A hotel guest cooking in a room set off smoke alarms Tuesday at Staybridge Suites, 1801 S. 52nd St.

Accidents

Rogers

• An accident between a car and a truck near 2414 S. Eighth St. blocked the northbound lane of Eighth Street late Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters cleaned an oil spill from the accident.

Springdale

• A Springdale ambulance was sent to an accident at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 540 where a brown Mazda flipped in the southbound lane north of the Wagon Wheel exit. The 911 call reported a man injured with his arm broken in several places. The man was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. His name and condition weren't available.

Rogers

• Jessica Earnst reported late Tuesday theft of a purse and a 2005 GMC Envoy from Good Vibrations, 2500 N. 17th St.

• Martha Gonzalez, 2203 S. D St., reported criminal mischief early Wednesday morning. A BMW and Ford pickup were damaged, Gonzalez told police. A police report indicated the windows were broken with a blunt object.

• Mike Graham reported Tuesday theft of copper tubing from 1700 S. First St.

• Jeremy Duckwort, 615 N. Fourth St., reported Tuesday break-in of a Nissan Frontier and theft of a checkbook.

Springdale

• Brad Shuman reported Wednesday that someone entered Hydro Works, 653 Kawneer Drive, by cutting through a fence then stole metal from the business.
