Zachary Holly, 28, and Perry Davis Jr., 50, were supposed to have mental status hearings before Circuit Judge Brad Karren.

A mental health expert hired by Holly’s defense team hasn't completed a report. The same situation exists in the Davis case.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court at 10 a.m. Aug. 30. Holly and Davis are being held without bond in the Benton County Jail.

Holly, 28, is charged in connection with capital murder, kidnapping, rape and residential burglary in connection with the abduction and killing of Jersey Bridgeman in November. Holly was arrested Nov. 26. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Davis, accused of killing his wife, is charged in connection with capital murder.

Bentonville police believe Davis shot himself after shooting his wife, Kelly, on Aug. 19.

Perry Davis was hospitalized for several weeks because of the gunshot to his head. Court documents state he has a prefrontal lobe injury from the wound, is now blind and has retrograde amnesia.
