UPDATE: Power restored at UA

1:05 p.m. update Power has been restored, according to the university's public relations department.

University of Arkansas Spokesman Steve Voorhies said 14 buildings on campus are without power.

Voorhies said a construction crew cut a power line, but he didn't know where.

"This is what we would consider a minor inconvenience," he said.

Voorhies said intermittent power outages have been reported in the area of Garland Avenue and Maple Street.

The UA Health Center, Davis College and University House are among the buildings without power.

"Facilities are working to locate the break and restore power as soon as possible," Voorhies said.

No injuries have been reported.
