J.B. Hunt maintains 15-cent dividend

J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. said Tuesday that its board of directors has declared a 15-cent quarterly dividend, the same offered to shareholders the previous two quarters.

The Lowell-based transportation logistics firm said the dividend will be paid Aug. 16 to stockholders of record as of Aug. 2.

In the third quarter of 2012 and for the three prior quarters, the firm offered a dividend of 14 cents.

The firm last week reported a second-quarter profit of $87.7 million, which was a 9 percent increase from second-quarter 2012 but which fell slightly short of analysts’ estimates.
