Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, meeting at 501 S. 40th St. in Rogers, presents Barbara Lingle speaking in a forum format Sunday. Lingle speaks on “The Science and Spirit of Meditation: Why It’s Good for You.” Meditation can help affirm and promote the seven principles of Unitarian Universalists. Lingle is a lawyer and member of the congregation.

Volunteers are needed to pack and deliver Meals on Wheels during August. Two people to pack and six people to deliver are needed Monday through Friday.

Children’s ministry and Bible classes begin at 8:45 a.m., and worship at 10 a.m.

Bernard Lane, offers Catholic Kidz Camp from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday to Friday. The camp is for children ages 4 years old through sixth grade, with the theme “Assorted Saints and Virtues of Faith, Hope and Love.”

Christ for the World of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, 3320 N. Second St., and Bobby Hogan Ministries, offer education through Christ for the World International Bible College, in association with Midwest College of Theology. The accredited program offers associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. Registration is $75. Classes start in August.

Unity Church of the Ozarks in Bentonville, 902 S.W. Second St., Suite E, offers its monthly potluck and Sunday Cinema following the worship service July 28.

The 60-minute documentary film, “An Uncommon Kindness,” looks at the life of Father Damien, a Belgian priest who served a quarantinedleprosy colony in Hawaii in 1883. An offering will be taken.

The Tzofim Friendship Caravan performs for free at 7 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence Plaza in Bentonville.

The caravan include 10 performers, ages 16-17, representing Israel to introduce the culture and diversity of their country through song, dance and personal stories. A similar delegation visits the United States each summer.

The group is sponsored locally by the Arkansas Jewish Federation, Congregation Etz Chaim in Bentonville and Temple Shalom in Fayetteville. Members of the two congregations open their homes to host the performers.
