Womack raises $123,000 for re-election campaign

LITTLE ROCK — U.S. Rep. Steve Womack has raised $123,426 over the past three months as he prepares to seek re-election next year.

The Republican lawmaker from Arkansas reported over the weekend that he has $578,970 in the bank for his re-election bid. Womack represents the 3rd Congressional District in Northwest Arkansas and is seeking a third term next year.

No Democrat has announced a bid to challenge Womack, who was first elected in 2010.

Monday is the deadline for federal candidates to file their quarterly fundraising reports.

Womack reported spending $23,443 during the quarter.
