A 28-year-old woman died Sunday after she was run over by a pontoon boat at Greers Ferry Lake, according to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission spokesman.
The unidentified woman jumped off the front of the boat to swim near the Cherokee Park area when the boat’s driver started the boat, running over her, spokesman Keith Stephens said.
The driver was only identified as a 36-year-old man, he said. Authorities are still investigating the death.
