Fairview Cemetery will be the subject of the July Crawford County Chronicles talk. The talk is set for 2 p.m.

Sunday in the classroom at the Drennen-Scott Historic Site in Van Buren.

Van Buren native Randy Smith will lead the discussion.

Smith wrote the successful nomination to include the cemetery on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The talk will include a brief history of the cemetery and places near the cemetery like the Van Buren Mystery Grave and the Carriage Mounting Step.

The talk is free, but seating is limited and must be reserved. More information is available by calling (479) 262-2750.
