Today

• Freedom Festival — With car show at 9:30 a.m. in City Park; adult co-ed softball all day; live music all afternoon; headliner Chase Rice from Nashville, Tenn., at 8:30 p.m.; and fireworks at dusk, City Park in Gentry. www.gentryarkansas.us.

• Fourth of July Parade — Hosted by the Bella Vista Patriots, pre-parade events at 10:30 a.m., parade at 11 a.m., Sugar Creek Center in Bella Vista. Any veteran and their family members who wish to join the parade can walk following the color guard.

• Fourth at the Field — Music, fun for kids, exhibition baseball game, 4:45 p.m.; fireworks at dusk, Arvest Ballpark in Springdale. $8 for adults, $6 for children 12 and younger. nwanaturals.com.

• An Evening At Orchards Park — With music by Breaking Silence at 7 p.m., followed by the Arkansas Winds’ “Tribute to America” & fireworks at dusk, Orchards Park in Bentonville. Free. 464-7275.
