FAYETTEVILLE — A fire that started in a shop building on Hobie Court, northeast of Rogers in Benton County, destroyed a boat, car, some all-terrain vehicles and burned 15-20 acres of land, according to Marc Trollinger, Benton County Fire Marshal. No injuries were reported.
The Saturday evening fire also damaged well houses and sheds. Trollinger said residential structures were threatened, but not damaged.
Trollinger said crews from five fire departments responded to the scene — Beaver Lake, Rogers, Rocky Branch, Avoca and Northeast Benton County.
