Arrests

Springdale

-William Randolph, 46, of 1316 AQ Circle was arrested Monday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor Johnson warrant for failure to pay fines and costs. Randolph remained in the Washington County Detention Center on Tuesday in lieu of $76,858 bond.

-Raiel Jihu, 27, of 1901 Shady Grove Road No. F-23, and Maston John, 30, of 1806-A Kim Ave. were arrested Tuesday in connection with felony theft by receiving. John also was arrested in connection with felony possession of a firearm by a felon. Police said John sold a stolen gun to Jihu. John remained in the Washington County Detention Center on Tuesday on a parole violation. Jihu remained in the Washington County Detention Center on Tuesday awaiting a bond hearing.

Fire

Rogers

-A grease fire was reported at 900 N. 13th St. at 5:56 p.m. Monday. A resident of the apartment put out the stovetop fire by dumping flour on it.

-A burglary was reported Monday by Luz Aguilar, 210 N. Seventh St.

-A Sunday burglary was reported Monday at 601 W. Easy St. Patricia Bowe told police a bowl of prescription medications had a burn mark from being moved onto the stove.

-Victoria Fugate reported Monday theft of a black iPhone from Rogers Heritage High School, 1114 S. Fifth St.

-A break-in was reported Monday by Amy Fourt, 501 S. 11th Place.

-Shane Carey reported Monday an attempted burglary at 200 Eams Ave.

-Rick Jones reported Monday a breaking and entry at 606-G Oak Ave. with a car amplifier and stereo equalizer missing.

-Sebrina Williams reported Monday a breaking and entry at 1145 Dick Smith Road.

-Kathy Win reported Monday a burglary at 2824 Boxcar No. 207.
