PUBLIC VIEWPOINT: West Fork Resident Ponders Local Government

Being a native Arkie, I’m familiar with the expression “Thank goodness for Mississippi” to explain our state’s gratitude at not coming in dead last in many quality of life indicators (education, income, obesity, literacy, etc.). That phrase comes to mind again as I ponder the condition of the local government in my town, West Fork.

The Westfork townfolk are getting you-know-whated in their sleep. It's a sad situation, but is there any doubt that the majority of these dysfunctional forkers on the Westfork city council are staunch conservatives?

Did I miss something during the last election?
I was under impression that the ballot issue for West Fork to disband water commission and put it under city control passed. Am I mistaken?
