Even if the outcome of the surgery might have been different, the really scary thing is the lack of a system to track test results and properly report them to patients. If they missed this one, how many more did they miss?

If this case were no more complex than reported here, there would have been only one page of written testimony or two minutes of verbal testimony before the court. One should be cautious about assuming one has any understanding of the case based upon such abbreviated reporting.
