Climate gets a mention

As much as last week’s bone chilling temperatures might offer cold comfort to those who deny its existence, the threat of climate change earned a prominent spot in President Barack Obama’s inaugural address last Monday. That was welcome, if overdue, given how little discussion this enormous challenge to the nation’s well-being received during last year’s campaign.
