Now open for breakfast, Tooley’s BBQ and More serves down-home cooking at moderate prices. From pancakes to hand-patted Angus burgers, Tooley’s menu aims to please the crowd and keep them coming back.

Owner Mike Tooley has been catering for more than 25 years and after operating a storefront in Elkins for two years, he moved the operation to Farmington, where traffic is higher. Diners can grab a booth inside or use the drive-thru window to pick up an order.

“We cater to all,” Tooley said. “With the window, we make it easy for people to come through after work and bring home dinner.”

By request, Tooley’s is open at 6 a.m. weekdays for breakfast. The $2 sausage biscuit-and-coffee special was an instant hit with morning commuters.

Tooley firmly believes that his loyal following is the result of a firm commitment to use only quality ingredients and to serve orders fast and fresh.

For dine-in or drive-thru, the family pack includes smoked meats, side items, corn-dusted buns and sauces. The house-smoked ribs are among the most popular items and are offered in half or full racks. “Meemaw’s” house-made pies also are extremely popular and include coconut cream, coconut pecan, peanut butter and opossum pie.

Lunch specials are offered Tuesday-Friday for $4.99. Country-fried steak and meatloaf are featured on Tuesdays. Wednesday’s special is chicken parmesan, and teachers receive a 50 percent discount. On Thursdays, a 2-pound baked potato is topped with butter, sour cream and cheese and stuffed with a choice of smoked chicken, beef or pork. Angus burgers are the Friday lunch special.

Tooley’s is well known for its burgers, which along with traditional cheeseburgers include a mushroom-and-Swiss burger and a barbecue burger with caramelized onions and hot or mild sauce.

The menu also boasts a range of plates including country-fried steak, chicken strips, golden butterfly shrimp and a smoked half-chicken. Children’s offerings include chicken tenders, grilled cheese, cheeseburger, barbecue sandwich or a corn dog with a drink and choice of fries, chips or fruit for $3.99.

Appetizers include catfish and gator bites, pickle chips and breaded crawfish tails. The salad bar is available as a single-trip visit or all-you-can-eat. Side items include traditional barbecue sides along with house-cut French fries, Cajun chips, gumbo and jambalaya.

Dinner specials include free children’s meals on Tuesday nights and fried fish and shrimp dinners on Fridays. Other specials are regularly promoted on Facebook.

Ever committed to the community, Tooley’s hosts a benefit dinner on Monday nights offering spaghetti, chili and chopped pork sandwiches with iced tea for $5.99. The next dinner will be Feb. 4, and $2 from each meal will be donated to the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter.

The restaurant opened a year ago at 112 Southwinds Road, just off West Main Street, in Farmington. Hours are 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday, 6 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 7 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Saturday, 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.
