Return of the stand-up comic

Live comedy is back on the menu at Arkansas clubs

Comedian Ralphie May, formerly of Clarksville, performs Jan. 17 at the UARK Bowl on West Dickson Street in Fayetteville. The bowl holds an open mic night on Thursdays that reportedly drew up to 200 people at peak times in 2012.

Live comedy is making a comeback after hitting the skids in recent years.
