Police Seize Pot, Pills

— An undercover investigation led police to nearly 2 pounds of marijuana, 200 pills and $4,825 on Friday.

Solon Daniel, 28, and Ashley Fulcher, 22, both of 3991 Park Oaks Drive No. 4 in Fayetteville face felony charges in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia and five counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Fulcher also faces two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and Daniel faces a charge of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Members of the 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force bought 63 grams of marijuana from Fulcher during an undercover investigation over the past three months, according to an arrest report.

Investigators reportedly stopped Daniel as he was leaving his apartment Friday. He told officers he lived there with Fulcher. Police searched his car and found three illegal pills, a bag of marijuana weighing 30.5 grams, a brown pill bottle with nearly a gram of marijuana, a pipe and $187.

Before detectives searched his home, Daniel reportedly admitted to having a pistol underneath his bed.

Inside the Park Oaks Drive apartment, police said they found 1.8 pounds of marijuana packaged in 16 containers, nearly 160 illegal pills, four digital scales, five bongs, six pipes, three grinders, a .40-caliber gun and various other drug paraphernalia. Detectives also seized $4,825, according to the report.

Daniel and Fulcher were arrested and taken to Washington County Detention Center, but were released Saturday in $5,000 bond.
