FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas freshman pitchers Colin Poche and Adam Meyer will face disciplinary action from Coach Dave Van Horn after being arrested Sunday and charged with misdemeanor shoplifting, but Van Horn isn’t ready to announce what he’ll do specifically.
“We’re still gathering a little bit of information, and once we get it all in there will be a suspension or two and a little bit of extra things that we like to do to guys as far as conditioning,” Van Horn said Friday.
“Hopefully, it will go away after we get all the details and these guys will endure what they have to endure.”
Poche and Meyer, both 19, attempted to steal two cases of beer and some deli sandwiches from a Fayetteville Wal-Mart, according to a police report.
