Arrests

Benton County

Sheriff’s Office

• Nicholas Jacob Harper, 26, of 3 Violet Lane in Bella Vista was arrested Thursday in connection with four counts of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. Harper was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

• Shirley Nobles, 53, of Elkins was arrested Friday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance, along with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, run red light, driving left of center and no proof of insurance. She was in the Washington County Detention Center on $1,115 bond Friday.

• Jonathon Cooper, 38, of 3208 N. Warwick Drive was arrested Thursday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Friday.

Springdale

• Brandon P. Provence, 29, of 3200 Turner St. was arrested Thursday in connection with a felony warrant for a parole violation and a misdemeanor Elkins warrant for failure to pay fines and costs. Provence was arrested after a traffic stop.

• Martinez Dotson, 30, of 1528 Dawn St. was arrested Thursday in connection with a felony warrant for parole violation. Police arrested Dotson after a traffic stop. Dotson was scheduled to be moved to the Washington County Detention Center on Friday.

• Nathaniel Railey, 42, of 2738B Ponchartrain St. was arrested Thursday in connection with felony simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of firearms by a felon, misdemeanor possession of 0.25 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Railey was arrested after his parole officer called police following a home inspection. Railey was in the Washington County Detention Center on Friday on a parole violation.

Sheriff’s Office

• Marty Berner, 33, of 2241 E. Robinson Ave. in Springdale was arrested Friday in connection with felony violation of the Arkansas hot check law. He also faces charges from another department. He was released from the Washington County Detention Center on $1,000 bond Friday.

• Lawrence Morey, 43, of 9223 E. 37th Place in Tulsa, Okla., was arrested Friday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and carrying a knife as a weapon. He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Friday.

• Christi Bass, 36, of Springdale was arrested Thursday in connection with felony violation of the Arkansas Hot Check Law. She was in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond Friday.

• A car fire was reported Thursday at the intersection of Dixieland Road and New Hope Road at 4:13 p.m.

• A house under construction at 5600 S. 63rd St. was vandalized, John Ross told police Thursday.

• Burglary and theft of the business’ safe was reported at Waffle Hut, 1233 W. Walnut St., by Norma Dillard on Thursday.

• A stolen trash can was reported at 3024 W. Perry Road by Margaret Palmer on Thursday.

Springdale

• William Hudson reported Friday a burglary at 2427 Willow Bend Circle.

• Linda Stevens reported Friday a break-in at Omni Plumbing, 556 Morris Ave.

• Candy Johnson reported Friday a break-in at 3065 Willow Bend Circle

• Kendall Walker reported Friday a break-in at 800 Gwenn St.
